i can do my best. …
i can do my best. rza was certainly the driving force. he helped the group go from a group of awesome rappers with underground respect to actually getting a record contract deal. he did it in unique way too. he was the first person to allow a group to be under one labbel yet each member were able to sighn indervidual record contracts with different labbels. it’s all about the labels. and also produced all their early stuff. he was also the main spokesman for the group. hope this is some help.

    out with “punch in …
out with “punch in the face” beats, he did like the nw idea of guitars but he thought that it shouldv only been in less than half the album because it was only an expariment at the time.
no it is said that raekwon is thinking bout leaving rza and making an album called somthing like : “the shaolin vs. the wutang”.
havnt heard anything bout this “new” album yet tho.

    hes always been up …
hes always been up there, before odb expired him nd odb were unofficially the leaders, rza being wu’s producer is now THE leader but som of the other members dont like how he preformed on their latest album (the 8 diagrams), they think that he overused the new idea of adding a new touch to his music like adding a guitar. Raekwon especially didnt like how rza made the entire album w/ guitrs in the beats. he thoght that since it had been a long time since they had made an album, they should com >

heey every-one … i just read this on a web-site; “He (RZA) is the de facto leader of the group..”

now my question is .. what does that EXACTLY mean??? i mean, i know what “de facto” means, but that’s right there, where i encounter problems .. so IS he the ‘leader of the group’ or is he •NOT•?? i mean .. either he IS or is isn’t .. right?? so .. can any-one help me outta here, please? thnx in advance :-) :-D

    he didnt teach them …
he didnt teach them niggas how to rhyme. he joked to the rza about letting him spit on “ice cream”. rza said “fuck it” and let him on the track. rza liked his verse so much that he let cap on a few more joints on “iron man”. google my niggas. you’ll learn alot.

    I know what the …
I know what the sample is, you didn’t read my post right. I said RZA and Nas used the same sample, basically making the same beat as Doom. Wu Tang knows Doom, and it just seems to me like he needs to give Doom some credit for taking his beat, which I’m sure is where he got the idea from.

I don’t know where Nas came from, but he probably heard Doom’s beat too.

Just because he’s not that well-known in the mainstream doesn’t mean you should steal his idea/beat. It’s not very creative or original.

The track samples a version of the Barrett Strong/Norman Whitfield composition “Message from a Black Man” - there you go good sir, the sample.

    Its a sample of a …
Its a sample of a classic song mister knowitall

Ill Bill has also sampled this song on - Unstoppable

The Beat doesnt belong to MF Doom so RZA wouldnt of had to pay him royalties - as i said its a very old song although i dont know the original name and artist. please listen to more music before you claim that THE RZA or anyone else is ripping off other artists
