The one bad side of youtube is the trolls (as you put it) who just put negative feedback for no real constructive reason.

yes the 300mm gives you a 450mm on DX, BUT you have the same quality if you shoot at 300mm in FX and crop the picture. On the D300 you have 450mm at 12megapix. Sure a big difference!

If you want it and can afford it (and all the FX lenses you’ll have to buy to go with it), and you don’t mind the weight when carrying it around, then why not?

but I have an “opinion question” about that, am a photographer and photography is my hobby and I have a Nikon D80 with almost full gear, but I sometimes get tired from changing lenses and stuff and I thought of buying the D3 as a second body,plus because I LOVE IT, my question is :is me buying this great and yet expensive camera, for a hobby, worth it???

I was just kidding bud, of course I don’t think that. It’s just like if you took a huge chug of what you thought was going to be water, and it turned out to be vodka. I hear it said the way “we” say it so much, it’s just unexpected and weird to hear it the right way.

That’s how Nikon is pronounced in the UK (where we’re from) and almost everywhere else in the world, including Japan. Its only the US that persists in calling it Nike-on.
