How do I rotate videos on my computer if they have been filmed in potrait and look topsy turvy on my comp?

My friend sent me a video from New Year's Eve that she had filmed on her digital camera. When I uploaded it to YouTube to watch it (I do not have quicktime, windows media player, etc so this was the only way) I realised it was "sideways" if that makes sense to anyone? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CKclOBBayc
There it is so you can catch my drift. I wanna turn it so it is the right way. Anyone know how exactly?

Rotating your video depends on the type of editing software you use. I just started using Windows Movie Maker. It comes loaded free on most new PC's. It has a simple rotate button on it. Very Easy.

If you use some other program, look under the help menu for the search index for "rotate".

To make things easier in the future, stop filming in portrait.

Good Luck!
