Besides being funny there was a lot of truth in this video. Those of us who can should help the elderly, many of them depend on Television for news and entertainment.
Some installations will need to convert to coax, requiring coax cable and an outdoor coax antennae adapter(similar to the one connecting to TV, but with a protective boot).
Also, rural areas such as the one I live in are losing channels due to weak signals, so I hope stations are given permission to increase their signals.

“Will this bring back Jack Benny?” lol Seriously though, I feel bad for the elderly/lower income folks. But I think once they switch they’ll be happy. I have friends using the converter w/a 32 inch tube Sanyo and I was surprised at how much better it looked even on a standard TV. Local stations need to boost their signals in some areas though. Here you can go from watching an entire hour long drama in 1080i with no hiccups to a 30 min sitcom lagging the whole time.
