What's the best digital camera for getting rid of blur?

When I take low to moderate light pictures without flash, I end up with a blurred photo even though I stand still, hold my breath and snap the picture. I like the natural look of light without flash, but can't seem to get rid of this problem. My digital camera is 8x optical zoom and 3x digital. I don't blow my pictures up to poster size, so I don't need a ton of megapixels.

Hi, it is quite possible you are suffering from a very low
shutter speed. Such that no amount of stillness, unless you use a tripod, will work. See if your camera has an "ISO" setting. A higher ISO number, usually one step below the max, will increase light sensitivity, and allow a faster shutter, and still get an image which is not all black. If you go to the max (highest numeric value), then the image is usually becoming grainy. This number is similar to 35mm film ASA.

Ultimately a camera without a good lens, and without a very light sensitive sensor, will not get a good photo for you in anything other than full sunlight.
Your interests may send you to look at an SLR camera, a *huge* step up in image quality! And the shutter response time is no longer so slow!

My camera doesn't record sound?

I have a Barbie (digital) camera that I hooked up to my PC. I used this program called PCCAM to record videos. But for soome strange reason, it doesn't record sound eve nthough on the toolbar, sound is checked off…
Any help?

What is a good digital camera to get for a novice photographer?

I am a graphic design student who is interested in photography - specifically pin-up/fashion photography- and would like to use the shots for my art work. The only problem is that Graphic Design school is expensive enough, so I plan on teaching my self the basics in digital photography……so I would like some recommendations on a starter digital camera that isnt too expensive! I have a simple Kodak Easy Share 3.1 camera….im assuming it wont make the cut! Although I use photoshop to manipulate photo's i take - I figure I would still need a better camera to take better shots…. any recommendations/ideas on cameras, equipment, how to get started would help and be greatly appreciated.

You don't say where you want to take photos, but this will be the key to your decision. A built in flash in a compact camera will only work up to 3m from the subject, will create unattractive, hard shadows and bright glaring refelctions. To avoid this you would need an SLR camera with a separate flash unit. You can add a diffuser to this to give much more subtle lighting effects, better for portraits.

The other essential is a telephoto lens, as the best effects are usually achieved when you move yourself further away from the subject, then zoom in.

I'd go for a kodak EasyShare C613 Zoom I've had mine for a while now and it takes great video and pictures and for just 79.95 USD you can't go wrong.

How do I fix my Sony Elixim digital camera, which is now taking blurry pictures every time I zoom in close?

Many of the pictures my Sony Elixim (orange credity card style) camera takes are now coming in blurry? Especially when I zoom in very close. Even when I take normal shots, the pictures seems rough and not crisp. Is the camera dead or can this be fixed?

I also have a Casio Digital Elf camera that is a few years older and I just turned it on for the first time and the digital screen is flashing lines and I can barely see what's in the picture. Plus everything is like a shade of red. Is this the digital display or is this a lens problem?

If so, your camera may be part of a wide-spread CCD sensor recall and may be entitled to a free repair. I had the same problem with an old Sony Cyber-shot and Sony fixed it free of charge.

Just so you know, you either have a Sony Cyber-shot or a Casio Exilim. I really don't see how the blur you're experiencing could be related to the hardware or optics. You're either using digital zoom or your shutter speed is not fast enough. Stay away from digital zoom. It only crops the center of your image and enlarges it through interpolation whereas optical zoom moves the glass within your lens to give you true zoom. Consult your manual to avoid digital zoom or remove it all together.

If you're taking pictures zoomed in without flash while in a dark setting, you're pretty much out of luck. Since it's a point & shoot you don't really have a choice. Either use flash or an action scene mode, if available.

The only waty the morning is good is if you have a clear blue easy fertility monitor. I have tried many kits and I use the answer brand that has 20 test strips in it there are 2 times a day to test that are good 2pm or 8pm do not drink for at least 2 hours prior to the test I have been pregnant 3 times though miscarriages these tests have always worked good luck!

Tomy Company Ltd. introduced the xiao TIP-521, a digital camera with a built-in printer, on November 6.

In 1998, Tomy brought to market the xiao, the worlds smallest polaroid camera which was developed in collaboration with Nippon Polaroid, and sold 3.5 million units in Japan. Tomy will appeal the latest xiao by emphasizing the fact that the latest xiao is different from conventional digital cameras in that it enables users to print wherever they take a photo, and the all-in-one camera is also easy to carry.

The xiao measures 149.5mm x 74.5mm x 25mm and weighs 294g. It packs a 5-mega pixel, 4x digital zoom camera with a 2.48-inch LCD monitor, infrared port, SD/SDHC memory card slot, 35g rechargeable polymer battery, and a thermal line printer with a resolution of 313dpi.

Tomy teamed up with ZINK Imaging of Massachusetts and incorporated into the xiao a printer that uses the US companys ZeroInk technology to use ink-free ZINK Paper. The card-size photo paper is 2×3 inches, and a pack of 20 sheets sells for 880 yen. The xiao can receive and print photos sent from infrared-capable digital cameras and mobile phones.

Named after the Chinese character small, and also meaning laugh, the xiao will be available at camera stores and mass merchandizing stores, as well as ecommerce sites, in Japan from November 28. The price is 34,800 yen, and the first-year domestic sales target is set at 100,000 units.

Tomy is negotiating with a few US companies for distribution. The company will launch sales in North America in April or May 2009, aiming to ship 300,000 units in the first year. For Europe, Tomy will set an annual sales target at 180,000 units.

How to make a digital album on my computer?

I have a digital camera with computers and photos stored in my chip.
I want to make a digital photo album on my computer but dont know how.
Its those pics where theyre not worth printing but not worth throwing out…
Is there a free software / program or something?

Picasa is pretty good. And free. (Download link below.) Very basic for editing photos, but it’s good enough for 90% of the people with cameras.
